2024 BBTC ALTITUDE CAMP
Big Bear Track Club will host week long (7 days, Sunday to Sunday) training camp intervals for athletes to sign up for. Each week cost $1350 per athlete, this fee will include: Lodging, Food, Coaching, Transportation and Supervision in Big Bear Lake.
Although the minimum duration of training camp is 1 week, we highly recommend that you consider sending your athlete for 2 weeks intervals or more to reap the full benefits of altitude training. Altitude training will hold the most benefit to athletes who are exposed to high altitude for periods longer periods (14 days +), benefits from this training periods have the potential to hold increased fitness and performance going into next cross country season. The Bigger the Base, the Bigger the Peak!
Discounts are available for additional weeks after 2 weeks of consecutive camp. ($100 off)
It will be the parents responsibility to transport their athlete(s) to camp on their starting Sunday (1pm) and ending Sunday (10:30am). Specifics of drop offs and pick ups will be available closer to camp dates. Nearest airport is Ontario International airport in Ontario, California.
Please select below which weeks you would like to send your athlete to Big Bear Track Club Altitude Camp. This selection does not guarantee your athletes spot in the camp, directors of the camp, Boys Camp: Carlos Handler, will reach out to confirm athletes registration for camp dates.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit will be due at time of confirmation to hold your athletes spot. The remaining balance is due the first day of camp. Register your athlete below. Only 30 available spots per week camp.

About Us
Big Bear Track Club is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization established in 2013 and based in Big Bear Lake, California. Big Bear TC has developed world class athletes in the distances ranging from 800m to the 1500m. To date, Big Bear TC has played a significant role in improving American distance running. At the 2013 IAAF World Championships in the 800 meters in Moscow, Brenda Martinez earned the silver medal in a personal best of 1:57.91 as the first American woman to medal at the outdoor World Championships for the United States in the 800 meters. In 2016, Boris Berian became Big Bear TC's first world champion winning the gold medal at the IAAF indoor championships in the 800 meters.
